House Progress...

The past two days Gary and Big Gar have been staining cedar boards for the exterior walls. They look really nice and will look even better when the are on the walls!!! The drywall is coming along good too, it has been a bit damp and so it hasn't dried as fast as I would have liked it to...a few more days though and I should be painting.

Here are a the colors that Gary & I have agreed on!! Just another step closer....Valspar paint is really cool, they give you these pictures that you can hole over a paint color and it really gives you a good idea of what the room woul look like...FYI the picture isn't our house.

Becky & Brent's Wedding

This past weekend Gary and I headed to the Ham Lake area for his sisters wedding. It was a lot of fun and I think a good time was had by all!

One Year!!!

Today is mine and Gary's 1st Anniversary.. It is hard to believe that a whole year has passed already. We are going to Canada for dinner tonite...our favorite up there, "The Prospector"... I can't wait!! It will be nice to get away for the evening with just the two of us. Gary has the tendency to have to always invite someone wherever we may go! So this should be nice!!!

Rocks!

On Monday Gary and his buddy Dave made two nice retaining walls against the house. They look really nice and there is even a spot I found for my future garden! I'm so excited for next spring I can't hardly wait!!! I've always wanted my OWN garden!

Drywall!

Last weekend we got 95% of the drywall hung. Thanks to our wonderful friends and family that helped it took about a day and a half..It is really starting to look like a house now! We are waiting on a bath tub so we can hang the last few pieces of drywall. After that it will get taped and primed and soon I will be able to start painting!
