Yesterday my family, well most of them celebrated turkey day at mom and dad's house. Gary was working a double..of course! Seth and Marti were in Madison with mom's side of the family. A good time was still had by all I must say. Here are a few pictures that I took.

We are getting closer to moving in, just a few more days I think. We need hot water and the outdoor wood boiler and we should be all good to go. We can't wait!

Little Closer

We finished up the tile a while ago, but I haven't blogged in a while either....oops!

Gary caught 10 Whitefish one day on Devil Track....he was so proud!

On Gary's last 4 day weekend we dug the hole for our outdoor woodboiler pipe and put it in...what a job! Oh, and yeah it wasn't the most fun Saturday to be had. I just have to keep saying soon soon...we will be in soon!

Ceiling, paint & tile

I know I haven't posted any updates in a while so here you go. Gary and I went to Duluth this past Saturday and picked out all of our appliances, countertop and tile. We are really starting to get anxious and can't wait to get into the house...Only a few more weeks I hope! Just a few photos of our progress!

Siding!

Today they started putting the cedar siding on the house. It looks great and here are a few pictures of the progress...I'm sure they will be close to finishing it tomarrow! It really looks like a house now!

House Progress...

The past two days Gary and Big Gar have been staining cedar boards for the exterior walls. They look really nice and will look even better when the are on the walls!!! The drywall is coming along good too, it has been a bit damp and so it hasn't dried as fast as I would have liked it to...a few more days though and I should be painting.

Here are a the colors that Gary & I have agreed on!! Just another step closer....Valspar paint is really cool, they give you these pictures that you can hole over a paint color and it really gives you a good idea of what the room woul look like...FYI the picture isn't our house.

This past weekend Gary and I headed to the Ham Lake area for his sisters wedding. It was a lot of fun and I think a good time was had by all!
